Karolina Fandrejewska projects foreground the atmospheric and intangible qualities of their specific locations; approach materiality through research and experimentation; and emphasise physical movement as a means to shape space. Rather than focusing on the design of isolated structures, Fandrejewska precisely choreographs environments that invite visitors to reflect on how they connect with their immediate surroundings.

The work of Karolina Fandrejewska and her team is collaborative at its core. The studio’s research includes spatial, historical, ecological, social, and emotional parameters of a site and its users. Karolina Fandrejewska's Team consists of craftsmen, specialized technicians, architects, designers, conservators, art historians, researchers, programmers, web and graphic designers, film-makers. They work with Fandrejewska to develop, produce, and install artworks, projects, and exhibitions, as well as on experimentation, research, publishing, and communications. In addition to realizing artworks in-house, Fandrejewska and the team work with structural engineers and other specialists and collaborate worldwide with cultural practitioners, policymakers, and scientists. The studio hosts workshops and meeting in order to further artistic and intellectual exchanges with people and institutions outside the art world.
